AN Audi driver was fined by police as his number plate was too small.
He was stopped by Dorset Police's No Excuse Team yesterday.
He was handed a £100 fine.
Later in the day officers recorded a motorbike at 45mph in a 30mph zone.
A spokesman for the team said: "The rider was trying it out, as he'd only just picked it up.
"He was handed a £100 fine and three points."
Elsewhere, a VW transporter driver was seen holding and using his mobile phone whilst driving.
"He was fined £200 and given six points on his licence."
