BOURNEMOUTH’S seafront golf course is to have a spooky makeover in time for half term.

Smugglers Cover Adventure Golf, located next to the beach at Pier Approach, will be transformed this Halloween, with plenty of eerie twists and turns as players smuggle their ball past treacherous rocks, spooky church ruins and gravestones.

On Saturday October 31, guests can play in their best Halloween fancy dress and one child goes free with every paying adult.

Throughout half term, competitors can take part in a competition to name the latest member of Smugglers Cove’s notorious Moonshadow Gang.

The winner will see him come to life in his own brand-new mini animation and win a host of goodies including free family entry.

Created by local story tellers Little Blue Hut, the animation is one of a series designed to introduce visitors to some of the Cove’s Moonshadow Gang.

To enter, participants will need to tag Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf with your name suggestion on Instagram and Facebook, enter online or putt and pose and share a selfie when you meet the new crew member on the course, along with their name suggestion and the hashtag #smugglerscovebmth.

The course will be open daily during half term between Friday October 23 and Monday November 2 from 10am.
