A FLOOD warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for Poole Harbour.

High water is forecast for 8.15am on Saturday, November 14, when Force 7 winds are also forecast.

The flood warning is also in place for evening high tide, at 9.45pm.

An Environment Agency spokesman said: "Flooding to roads and farmland is forecast at these times, however conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide.

"Areas most at risk are Poole Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Frome and River Piddle.

"We are closely monitoring the situation.

"Our incident response staff are checking defences.

"Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads and consider installing property flood resilience equipment."
