A POLICE investigation is ongoing after a man took six bottles of wine from a Bournemouth convenience store without paying.

The incident at Central Stores in Seamoor Road, Westbourne, saw a man enter the shop, select the bottle, which were valued at around £44 before leaving without attempting to pay for the alcohol.

The wine was located outside of the store following the shoplifting incident shortly before 10pm on Monday, October 26.

Officers investigating the reported shoplifting offence in have now issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Wilson, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of our enquiries I am keen to identify the man captured in this CCTV image and I would urge anyone who knows who he is to please contact Dorset Police.”
