Sixty-six new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Dorset in the last 24-hours.
Latest data from Public Health England published on the government website showed 48 cases were confirmed in the BCP area up to 4pm on Friday, November 27.
In the past seven days, there have been 538 new cases in the BCP area with a rate per 100,000 people of 136.1. The current rate for England is 200.4.
In the wider Dorset area, 18 new cases have been recorded in the past day with 239 cases over the last seven days, giving a rate of 63.1.
Since the start of the pandemic, 7,070 infections have been recorded across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole with 3,137 in Dorset.
As previously reported, the whole of Dorset will be placed in Tier 2 coronavirus restrictions when lockdown ends on December 2.
Elsewhere, the New Forest has recorded just six new cases of the Coronavirus in the past day with an overall total of 1,799 since March.
There have been 134 cases confirmed in the district over the last seven days, giving a rate of 74.4.
