SWANAGE defeated Bridport reserves 3-1 at Day's Park in the Dorset Premier League.

The hosts took the lead on 16 minutes when Sam Beale's shot was parried by keeper Kieran Park into the path of Paul Best, who scored from close range.

The half-time introduction of substitute Neemo Nixon, by boss Tony Parrott, seemed to spur Swans on to a higher tempo.

Nixon was just off target when well-placed and was instrumental in the move which saw Dave Best narrowly miss with a diving header.

But Ryan Moss, with his first goal for the Swans doubled the lead, heading home from close range after Sam Peacock's initial header hit the bar.

Paul Best completed his brace and Swans’ third after 82 minutes with a deflected shot just inside the box.

The Bees reduced the arrears on 87 minutes through Kris Radivojsa.
