A DEEP clean of the headquarters of Dorset HealthCare University Foundation Trust has been arranged after a staff have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
Those infected have been told to isolate at home, whilst the remaining staff at Sentinel House in Poole have been urged to work from home.
The news comes after a number of schools and businesses across Dorset have reported a rise in infections, meaning adults and students have been forced to return to working from home and homeschooling arrangements.
A spokesperson for Dorset HealthCare said: “After a small number of staff tested positive for Covid-19 at Sentinel House in Poole, we are arranging for a deep clean of the building as a precautionary measure.
“This is in line with our standard infection prevention and control (IPC) procedures.
“While the building has not been evacuated or closed, staff there are being urged to work from home or another trust site to allow the deep clean to be carried out quickly and effectively.”
