A MAN who was caught speeding twice on the same road has been given a driving ban by the courts.
Eric Fredrick James Curtis, 78 and of Pembridge Road, Fordingbridge, was convicted of two counts of speeding.
The case was dealt with under the single justice procedure and related to offences reportedly committed on November 28, 2020.
Curtis was said to have driving a Honda at 43mph on the A3024 Maybray King Way, Southampton, and 36mph on the same road when a 30mph speed limit was in force.
The defendant was fined £660 and ordered to pay a £78 surcharge and £180 costs after a single justice procedure process at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on October 4.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months.
