CARE home residents are having their wishes granted after their quality of life was limited during the pandemic.

Ingleside Residential Home in Upwey, Weymouth, is offering its residents the chance to have their 'dreams come true' by giving them the opportunity to request an activity they would most like to do, which the home can then organise for them.

So far, wishes have included a trip to Bovington Tank Museum and a visit from a riding stable.

Claudia Webb, manager of Ingleside, said: "Seeing our residents happy is such a fantastic result. The Ingleside family is always looking for ways to go the extra mile to ensure that our residents live contented, fulfilled and meaningful lives.

"We believe that getting residents to set achievable hopes and dreams for the future is the perfect way to achieve this and is especially important since Covid-19 limited quality of life for so long.

"We are grateful to everyone who helps us achieve these dreams and to the Weymouth Morrisons who kindly give us many items for fun activities."
