A MAN from Slough has been handed a hefty court bill for being in Bournemouth during the Covid lockdown.
Tyler Young, aged 21, was said to have left his address where he lived in Horton Road, Datchet, and been in Bournemouth in breach of the rules on February 22.
At the time strict stay at home orders were in place as part of national restrictions.
The case against Young was proved under the single justice procedure by a magistrate at a behind closed doors hearing in Weymouth on December 1.
The defendant, who was not present at the hearing, was fined £1,100 and ordered to pay a £110 surcharge and pay £90 costs.
