FAMILIES are invited to enjoy a summer of wildlife as RSPB Arne hosts a series of exciting events.

The Big Wild Sleep Out at RSPB Arne is a unique opportunity for families to sleep out in the wild.

Spend the night in an idyllic private area of the reserve overlooking Poole Harbour and the Purbeck hills, along with a hearty locally sourced dinner and an early morning breakfast next to Poole Harbour.

Reptile Survey Walks allow visitors in small groups a unique opportunity to take part in one of the reserve’s actual reptile surveys.

Participants will walk in some of the more sensitive areas of the reserve to explore where these creatures call home.

RSPB Arne is one of the few places in our country where you see all six species of British reptile, including the rare sand lizard and the elusive smooth snake.

Or take part in the Nightjar Walks with Supper back by popular demand this summer.

This is an exclusive opportunity for families to listen for the unforgettable 'churring' of one of the heathland’s most mysterious inhabitants and to experience this special Dorset reserve by night.
