THE new Day's Park floodlights were turned on as Swanage Town & Herston welcomed Southern Premier outfit Poole Town for a pre-season friendly.
Watched on by a healthy attendance, the visitors struck on 14 minutes courtesy of former Swan Will Spetch with a thumping header, then doubled their lead on 35 minutes through Toby Holmes.
However, two minutes later Swans halved the deficit through Sam Beale with a cool finish.
Swans produced a determined display but the fitter visitors added two quickfire goals, before Addwell Chipangura on 84 minutes capped it off with a vicious shot to clinch a 5-1 victory.
