A VENUE home to ‘endless’ beauty services and 'delicious' coffee - Crema & The Collective in Boscombe is Trader of the Week.

Crema & The Collective is home to a coffee shop as well as 15 co-working spaces which are rented out to beauticians.

Found in Christchurch Road, it was opened in November following a partnership between two separate concepts - Crema and Collective.

Collective was founded by James Benamor and Nikki Andrews, with the pair opening their first ‘luxury shared workspace’ in Bournemouth’s Westover Road in December 2021.

When considering opening a second Collective venue, Nikki took on board the co-founders of Crema Café - Steve Madden and John Adams.

The two businesses then joined together to launch the brand-new shop in Christchurch Road.

It means customers can now enjoy coffee and cake, before having their nails done or going for a massage.

Steve at Crema said: “It’s created a community, and the businesses complement each other.

“If someone comes in and gets their nails done, they can also experience the coffee shop at the front.

“It makes their visit better, and more sociable.”

The café elements are located at the front of the shop, while the beauty rooms are located behind in a warehouse-style unit.

They are currently occupied by several beauty businesses, including masseuses, nail technicians and aesthetic nurses, who pay a set rate to use the rooms.

Steve said that visiting customers and clients have given good feedback, and he is excited for more people to discover the new concept.

He told the Daily Echo: “The reaction has been really positive. We’re in a challenging area, but there’s so much potential and optimism around Boscombe.

“So, it’s been good and it’s been received really well, but it feels like Boscombe is in the early stages of showing it has more to give - we’re just quite early to the party.”
