FLORAL tributes have been left for an 18-year-old “kind soul” who was ‘stabbed to death’ in Bournemouth town centre on Saturday.
Dozens of bouquets have been left in the Square this morning along with cards for the “popular” and “lovable” Bournemouth man.
Named locally as Cameron, friends were seen placing flowers at his place of death.
One message read: “I’m blessed to have met such a kind soul and you will never be forgotten.”
Another said: “You were one of the nicest and kindest people I ever got to meet. You will always be in our hearts, you are gone but never forgotten.”
“You always put people before yourself. You were the most kind, caring, selfless person,” another person said.”

Today, Bournemouth town centre fully reopened with the large police cordon, which stretched across the Square, Lower Gardens and Gervis Place, fully lifted.
Four 18-year-old men, two from Portsmouth, one from Bournemouth and one from Poole, remain in police custody, under arrest on suspicion of murder.
Detective Inspector Neil Third, of Dorset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts are first and foremost with the family of the young man who sadly died in this incident.
“We have dedicated officers supporting the family and keeping them updated with the progress of our investigation at what must be a truly dreadful time for them.”

Cllr Vikki Slade, leader of BCP Council said: “I am deeply saddened to hear about
the death of this young man and our thoughts are with his family and friends at what must be an unimaginably difficult time.”
Bournemouth West MP Sir Conor Burns described the incident as “dreadful”.
Superintendent Gavin House, of Dorset Police, said: “Very sadly a young man has lost his life and our thoughts are with his family and friends.
“A full and detailed investigation is underway into this incident and I would urge anyone who saw what happened and has not yet spoken to officers to please contact us.”
