POLICE are investigating after multiple incidents of criminal damage took place across Ringwood.

Two large windows and two doors were smashed at Morrisons Daily, Hightown Road between 10pm and 5am on February 4.

In a separate incident which is believed to be connected, at around 12.40am on Sunday, it was reported that two cars had windows smashed on Whitehart Fields.

Then, between 11pm on Saturday (February 3) and 9am on Sunday, a report stated that a windscreen had been smashed on another vehicle in Parsonage Barn Lane.

It was reported that a convex safety mirror was smashed in the same road between midnight and 1am on Sunday.

Police have launched a search for a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents who is described as white, about 17 years old and 5ft 11ins.

He also has a slim build and was seen wearing a jacket with a high-visibility horizontal line across the chest, and a hooded top with a white stripe.

New Forest Inspector Darren Ord said: “We believe these incidents to be linked and are doing everything we can to find those responsible.

“Officers will continue to provide high-visibility patrols in the area, so please speak with them if you have anything you want to discuss or any concerns or issues you wish to raise.

“Additionally, if you also experienced any damage to your property last weekend, and haven’t yet reported this to us, please do so at the earliest opportunity.
