TWO goats called Albert and Rodney are among animals looking for their forever homes.

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green needs to find permanent homes for eight animals this week.

Can you help? all the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo: CharlieCharlie (Image: Margaret Green)

Charlie is a sweet and affectionate Greyhound who is nearly 10 years old. Despite his age, he is still very agile and would love to find a family with adults and children over the age of 5 who will go out on lots of adventures with him. Due to his friendly nature, it is felt Charlie would be happy to live alongside another medium to large-sized dog, but he would prefer a home without any resident felines.

Bournemouth Echo: BellaBella (Image: Margaret Green)

Bella is a beautiful, 5-year-old Shar Pei x Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is a real cuddle bug and foodie! She would love to find a new family with adults and older teenagers, who ideally have experience of her breed mixes.

Margaret Green said: "We feel that Bella could possibly live with a male dog of a similar breed and size, pending successful introductions, but she would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries."

Bournemouth Echo: PennyPenny (Image: Margaret Green)

Penny is a 10-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Collie who has a larger-than-life personality. She would love to find active owners who will be happy to take her to training classes.

Margaret Green said: "We also think she would thrive with outdoor activities, like agility, to keep her stimulated. Although Penny enjoys playing with other like-minded dogs, we believe she would be best suited to a home with adults, where she will be the only pet."

Bournemouth Echo: Mr TangoMr Tango (Image: Margaret Green)

Mr Tango is a handsome 12-year-old who is searching for a quieter, more rural home. He would love to find patient owners who will help him settle into his new surroundings.

Margaret Green says Mr Tango would be happiest living in a home with adults, where he will be the only pet and have free access to an enclosed garden via a cat flap, so he can safely explore outside, once he feels brave enough.

Bournemouth Echo: Albert and RodneyAlbert and Rodney (Image: Margaret Green)

Albert & Rodney are a sweet-natured father and son pair of goats who were quite nervous upon arrival, but have since started to let their cheeky personalities shine.

Margaret Green said: "We feel these lovely chaps would be at their happiest in a home with lots of space, enrichment and a big bed to snuggle into at the end of the day. Due to their size and build, they would be best suited to paddocks with high, robust fencing."

Bournemouth Echo: Pixie and BoPixie and Bo (Image: Margaret Green)

Pixie & Bo are a beautiful mother and daughter pair who are five and three years old.

It is felt they would benefit from living in a home with a large outdoor space, with plenty of room to explore and sunbathe in the warmer months.

Since being in our care, Pixie & Bo have discovered their love of digging, so it would be important for this cheeky pair to find a home that’s well-secured, to ensure they remain safe.
