A MAN has been arrested and a van was seized after an early morning rural burglary in Blandford.
A countryside address in Moor Critchel was broken into at around 3.30am on March 12.
A ladder, Stihl jet wash, battery and charger pack, Stihl hedge trimmer, a mini-Shetland Hitec harness, and Liverpool driving bit marked with the postcode of the address were stolen.
The lock was also broken during the break-in.
Dorset Rural Crime Team enquired about the incident and subsequently arrested a man for burglary.
He remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.
The vehicle that is believed to have been used in the burglary was also seized in Poole.
A spokesperson for the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: “Big shout out to Special Constable 3071 (pictured) who came out to assist the team at short notice.
“Thanks, Dorset Police Special Constabulary.
If you live in the Moor Critchel area and have CCTV please check it. We are particularly interested in any sightings of a white car-derived van which is believed to have been in the area with multiple occupants.
