THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

GERALD HORAN, 36 and of St Michael’s Road in Bournemouth, admitted handing stolen goods, namely musical items, in Bournemouth on February 11. He was jailed for seven days. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154.00.

THOMAS SWEENEY, 19 and of Okeford Fitzpaine in Dorset, admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis in Bournemouth on July 24, 2022. He admitted theft from a shop, after stealing a necklace valued at £395 from Warren James Jewellers in Bournemouth on June 22, 2023. He admitted burglary other than dwelling after entering the Bournemouth International Centre on June 10, 2023, with intent to steal. He admitted criminal damage after damaging a police van while on route to custody in Weymouth on September 29, 2023. He also admitted theft of pedal cycle after stealing a pedal cycle valued at £2000 from a man in Wimborne on August 23, 2022. The defendant was handed a community order running until March 25, 2026, with a requirement to complete 140 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £900.00.

GARY CHITTICKS, 40 and of The Verne in Portland, admitted four charges of exposure after intentionally exposing himself in Bournemouth on August 20, 21, 22 and 23 last year. He was jailed for 32 weeks and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154.

DAVID GREEN, 57 and of Simmonds Close in Poole, admitted fraud by false representation after dishonestly made a false representation to a woman in Poole on August 22, 2023, and taking £79.98. He was jailed for four months.

JOHN JONES, 55 and of Glen Road in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing 15 packets of meat to the value of £100 from Sainsbury’s in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth on November 17, 2023. He was ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

LAUREN WADE, 35 and of Spring Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving without insurance and while disqualified from driving in Palmerston Road in Bournemouth on November 24, 2023. She was handed a community order lasting until March 25, 2025 and disqualified from driving for a period of 12 months. She was also fined £80, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114.

MADELEINE PANKHURST, 52 and of Palmerston Road in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing various health products and chocolate valued at £678.69 from Holland and Barrett at The Dolphin in Poole on January 15. She also admitted stealing three female sets valued at £139 from Next in Castlepoint Shopping Centre in Bournemouth on November 17, 2023, and box sets valued at £100 from Boots in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on November 14, 2023. She was ordered to pay compensation of £250 and handed an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

LOKMAN BALYEN, 47 and of Blandford Road in Poole, admitted drink driving in Poole Road, Bournemouth on February 17. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48.

TUNDE FEJOS, 37 and of Ringwood Road in Poole, admitted drink driving in Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth on February 18. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay a fine of £120.

GLEB VOLJENSKI, 26 and of Kingswell Road in Bournemouth, admitted assaulting a police officer in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on February 18. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months. He was also ordered to pay £200 in compensation, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £26.
