A CARE provider has announced its expansion of hourly care service on the south coast to offer “person-centred support” to families in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Promedica24, which has a new office based in Christchurch, will now provide flexible care options to residents.

Led by Gillian Louggar, it will allow care seekers to schedule carer visits around their daily routines and activities to receive extra help when it is most needed.

Ms Louggar, a registered manager at Promedica24, said: “We are delighted to be able to reach more people and respond to increasingly varied care needs.

“We are confident that our bespoke hourly care packages are a valuable and much needed option for families looking to help their loved ones in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

“As a CQC-registered care specialist, Promedica24 is providing a viable alternative to residential care for those looking to preserve their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes.

“Home care can be the perfect option for those who want to stay close to their community, keep their pets, and continue their daily routines, and we’re looking forward to this new chapter in Bournemouth.”

Care manager Lorraine Marshall added: “We are thrilled to be expanding our service offering into the Bournemouth region.

“I love working in my local community, and I am looking forward to forging new relationships with the people who will be supported by Promedica24’s new hourly care service.

“Hourly care goes beyond practical assistance with daily tasks – it creates a genuine companionship that enhances the overall quality of life and allows people to remain in their own homes, making their own choices.

“I am really proud of the work of all of our carers, and I am looking forward to welcoming new people to Promedica24’s services.”

The expansion comes as Promedica24 celebrates 10 years of operating, during which time it has supported more than 1,700 families to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

Last year, Promedica24’s carers provided more than 54,000 days of care to people across the country.
