THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

SOPHIE BANDONI, 27 and of Coles Gardens in Poole, admitted two counts of theft after stealing seven legs of lamb to the value of £63 from The Range in Bournemouth on February 17, and stealing a handbag from a woman at The Lord Wimborne on February 2. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. She was also ordered to pay £60 in compensation and a victim surcharge of £26.

DAVID ALEXANDER, 58 and of Cobham Road in Ferndown, was found guilty of driving without insurance in Ferndown on February 24, 2023. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ROBERT ALAN JOHN NASH, 39 and of Rosedale Close in Christchurch, was found guilty of using his phone while driving in Barrack Road in Christchurch on December 23, 2022. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120, and costs of £620 at to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PATRICK CHANDA, 29 and of King John Avenue in Bournemouth, admitted drink driving in Castle Lane West, Bournemouth, on October 29, 2023. He was handed an eight week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and disqualified from driving for 36 months. He as also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SCOTT MCCOWEN, 29 and of Capstone Road in Bournemouth, admitted resisting a police officer in his execution of duty in Bere Regis on September 3, 2023. He was fined £120, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a victim surcharge of £40.

CLARA WHEELER, 49 and of Frobisher Avenue in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on October 16, 2023. The community order was varied to contain new rehabilitation activity requirements.

ELLIOTT ALAN LYNAM, 37 and of Argyle Court in Swanage, admitted driving without insurance in Gilbert Road, Swanage, on June 22, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months and got six points on his licence. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JAMES WILLIAM PHILLIPS, 36 and of St Pauls Lane in Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates Court on October 20, 2023. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

THOMAS SHERRED, 36 and of Southcote Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving without a licence and insurance in Thomas Lewis Way in Southampton on February 17. He got eight points on his licence. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £40.

STEPHEN STANLEY, 62 and of Cashmoor Close in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing groceries and alcohol valued at £96.15 from BP Petrol Station in Ringwood Road, St Leonards, on November 6, 2023. He was handed a community order running until October 2, 2024 and ordered to pay compensation of £96.15. He was also banned from entering the petrol station for six months.

ANTONELLA AQUILINA, 40 and of Cliff Drive in Poole, admitted speeding and drink driving in Shore Road in Poole on February 3. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also fined £400, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £160.

THOMAS STRATMAN, 36 and of Station Road in West Moors, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without insurance in Wimborne Road East in Ferndown on February 15. He was handed a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 weeks, and disqualified from driving for two years. He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
