THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

NEIL BRAKE, 26 and of Ash Close in Hythe, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a man in Christchurch on January 31. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DANIEL MEYRICK, 37 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place after having a locking pocket knife with him in Cambridge Road, Bournemouth, on February 2. He also admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A after being in possession of heroin at Compass Point in Hinton Road, Bournemouth on March 1. He was handed a 20-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

DOMINIC MARSDEN, 41 and of Disraeli Road in Christchurch, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a man in Christchurch on February 14, and admitted possession of a class C drug after being found with GHB in Christchurch on the same date. He also admitted drug driving in Manor Road, Bournemouth, on August 6, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until April 8, 2025, and disqualified from driving for six months. He was also fined £100, ordered to pay compensation of £100, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DANNY WILLS, 40 and of Bournemouth, admitted two counts of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal, after entering Lidl in Poole Road with intent to steal on March 17 and 18. He was handed a two-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months. A two year long criminal behaviour order was also made banning him from visiting a number of locations, including the Lidl store.

SAAD YAHYA ALSHAHRANI, 33 and of Richmond Hill in Bournemouth, was found guilty of drink driving and drug driving in Avenue Road in Bournemouth on November 21, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also fined £600, ordered to pay £650 in costs the Crown Prosecution Service, and a victim surcharge of £60.
