A GROUP of hooded men stabbed a man in the leg during a 'terrifying' burglary in Poole.
A neighbour was alerted to a loud disturbance in his neighbour's flat. When he went next door, he was greeted by 'six men in balaclavas'.
He said: "I walked through the door, and a man came running at me with a kitchen knife.
"It was terrifying, and I thought it was the end of me."
Dorset Police received a report at 1.12am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, of an aggravated burglary at an address in Ashley Road in Poole.
It is reported that a group of men forced their way into the address while in possession of a metal bar and knife.
The man who was reportedly stabbed is believed to be a man in his 20s. He sustained injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service for injuries that are not believed to be serious.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "An investigation is underway led by detectives from BCP CID, and a cordon was in place while an examination of the scene was carried out."
No arrests have been made.
