Do you play keyboards? Do you like singing? The only other qualification needed is your age! If you are that happy age when getting up and going to work is no longer on your agenda but you still want to get involved with like-minded people and enjoy your hard earned retirement then Purbeck U3A needs you.

U3A is an organisation made up of many different groups – from A to nearly Z you can take part in Art Appreciation, Boules, Cycling, French, German or Italian right through the Pudding Club, Philosophy, Walking and Wine Appreciation and many, many more. You can start a group and indulge your own passion. Every group works (or plays!) the U3A way, that is an ethos of self-help and shared learning – it works so well – new things learned, maybe rekindling an interest that was interrupted by your career together with other like minded people.

The singing group has been together for a while and everyone thoroughly enjoys singing – all sorts of music and all levels of singers. Sadly, their much loved leader is no longer able to be there. Acapella singing is a bit limited and, in order to continue they are searching for someone who can provide the music as well as sing and lead them forward.

This could be you or someone you know. Come and find out more about us and what we do. There is more information on our website and you are welcome to our monthly meeting at Harman’s Cross village hall. Julie Seidel at or Chris Bonanni at are both happy to answer your questions.
