LAST weekend I had the pleasure of visiting my friends who have recently moved to Swanage.

I was impressed with the historical buildings and churches.

However, I was extremely shocked and annoyed at what restaurants and cafés were charging.

For three cups of tea and cakes – £15.

These prices would suit the local gentry, but what about the working class who are on low wages and the unemployed and the poor senior citizens?

The Tory government supports the low wage of £7.20 per hour.

I would like to ask the Tory MP Richard Drax for South Dorset, could he live on that low wage?

There is a need for a food bank in Swanage if there is not one already.
