Showtrial is the latest primetime drama to be airing on the BBC this year, which revolves around a divisive legal case.

It follows privileged university student Talitha Campbell who finds herself in a lot of trouble when a fellow pupil she once threatened goes missing under mysterious circumstances.

Solicitor Cleo Roberts will have to do her best to defend the arrogant and rude prime suspect, as she has a reputation to rebuild.

Showtrial will be a five part miniseries that will begin on Sunday, and comes from the mind of Ben Richards, who also helped create the Sky series COBRA.

Celine Buckens leads the cast as Talitha with Tracy Ifeachor playing Cleo.
