SWANAGE Town & Herston suffered their biggest defeat for seven years after losing 11-0 at Merley Cobham Sports in the Dorset Premier League.

Tim Brown’s side fell to a chastening reverse against their high-flying hosts, conceding six times during the opening 26 minutes.

The visitors managed to stem the flow of efforts until half-time before conceding five more during the second period.

Matt Groves struck four times for Cobham, while Lee Wilkins helped himself to a brace.

There were also goals for Dan Edwards, Brandon Randall, Asa Phillips and Jamie Moores, as well as an own goal.
