BOSS Eddie Howe stressed Cherries had not formulated plans regarding transfer targets for next season and insisted: “It’s the time to concentrate on the next game.”

Cherries have been linked with a number of goalkeepers in media reports, including the likes of Stoke’s Jack Butland and Liverpool stopper Simon Mignolet.

But Howe insisted his thoughts had been completely match-related ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Southampton (3pm).

Howe said: “We haven’t formulated any plans regarding transfer targets or anyone towards next year. We are firmly looking at this season.

“I will have conversations with the owner and the respective people at the club towards the close of the season, where we will formulate our plans.”

Asked whether a goalkeeper could potentially be an area to recruit, the boss replied: “Without formulating our plans it’s ridiculous to think we are considering any positions.

“It’s not the time for that at the moment, it’s the time to concentrate on the next game.”
