ICE Matacagi continued his impressive form with two tries as Swanage & Wareham stunned South West Counties leaders Devizes with a 26-0 whitewash.

In arguably their best display of the season, Swans took the lead after just five minutes when flanker Will Long drove over the line.

The Bestwall outfit extended their lead to 14-0 by half-time with the ball spun out to winger Rory Ferguson, who dived over in the corner with Steve Woolley again adding the extras.

Swans continued to dominate in the second half. Devizes held out until 62 minutes before a Woolley grubber kick caused all manner of problems with Matacagi outpacing the defence to score under the posts.

The visitors responded well, but were unable to make a breakthrough before winger Matacagi bagged a fine individual try, jinking inside the defence from 10 metres before rushing in for his second score of the day.

Woolley hooked the conversion wide, but Swanage ran out impressive 26-0 winners.

Swans sit sixth in the table, with a trip to second-placed Frome to come on Saturday (2.30pm). Devizes slip to third.
