EDDIE Hodge struck a second-half brace as Hamworthy United roared from 2-0 down to beat Amesbury Town 3-2 in Wessex Premier.

A Lewis Chambers double saw the league's bottom side ahead at the break, but two from Hodge before an own goal secured victory for Tim Sills's men at the County Ground, ending a run of four without a win.

Elsewhere, Poppies were thumped 4-0 at Fleet Town with Malachi Thomas netting twice, while Brockenhurst lost 2-0 at home against Horndean.

Lymington Town are up to fifth, leapfrogging AFC Portchester by beating them 2-0 at the Crest Finance Stadium thanks to goals from Sam House and Mickey Finch.
