SWANAGE Tennis Club’s ladies’ 2 team sealed an impressive winning draw at home against Wimborne.

They sit fifth in Division Four of the Dorset Women’s Winter League with six points from four matches.

Meanwhile, the club’s juniors are once again taking part in the biggest tournament in British tennis which gives all 14-and-under players the opportunity to compete on the world famous grass courts at Wimbledon.

The first stage of the tournament takes place locally and the winners of these events will then progress to the county finals in July.

County finals winners are then invited to compete on the grass courts at the famous SW19 venue.
