CORFE Castle manager Martin Patterson believes the club is becoming established in the Dorset Premier League.

Two years ago this month, the Fortress outfit completed their title-winning campaign in the Dorset Senior League, paving the way to step seven of the non-league pyramid.

Corfe finished 15th in their inaugural Dorset Premier League campaign last season – and had sat 10th in the table before this campaign was scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Manager Patterson said: “I do feel we have established ourselves in the DPL, we’ve taken some hidings since we’ve been at this level but we’re learning and have played some very good sides in those games.

“We’ve always bounced back and we keep improving.”
