SWANAGE Town & Herston are scheduled to resume their Dorset Premier League campaign this weekend, with the division given the green light to recommence.

All grassroots football had been halted amid the second national lockdown due to a rise in coronavirus cases.

But the Football Association last week announced competitive grassroots football could resume from December 2.

Swans are set to make the trip to Bournemouth Sports on Saturday, looking for their fourth league victory of the campaign.

The Day’s Park outfit have picked up nine points from their opening league games to sit 10th in the division.

Elsewhere in the league, bottom side Wareham Rangers will be looking for their first points of the season, when they make the trip to Blandford United on December 12.
