TASMANIAN left-arm spin all-rounder Tom Willoughby was Bournemouth's match-winner in the three-wicket defeat of Totton & Eling.

The result saw the visitors stumble into the thick of the ECB Southern Premier League relegation zone.

Willoughby top scored with 48 after opening the bowling for the Lions and taking 4-22 with his left-arm spin.

His figures initiated a middle-order collapse by Totton, who lost four wickets for 18 runs from 120-3 before South African Josh Elliott's patient, unbeaten 78 eased his side to an eventual 191-9.

Willoughby featured in Bournemouth's strong start, sharing an opening stand of 79 with Ben Rogers (30) and then 49 with James Van Gool (41) before becoming a second victim of former Berkshire cricketer Harry Stephens (3-36).

Luke Webb (30) strengthened Bournemouth's position until the lions lost four cheap wickets before clinching their victory.
