POOLE Pirates’ starts to cup competitions in the 2024 season have been confirmed.

Pirates will again face Oxford Cheetahs and Plymouth Gladiators in the southern section of the group stage of the BSN Series next year, Poole lifting the trophy last term.

Once again the group stage will be contested as a round robin, with each team facing each other home and away.

With three groups, the winners of each pool will be joined by the best runner up for the two-legged semi-finals.

Pirates have also learnt their KO cup fate for next season. Defeated by Scunthorpe Scorpions in the final last year, Poole have been awarded a bye to the quarter finals, where they will face Edinburgh Monarchs.

At the time of writing, fixture details have yet to been revealed.

Pirates have lifted the second-tier knockout cup on five occasions, most recently winning it in 2022.
